Which guy is the quickest at blocking a woman when she makes the effort to be well mannered and reply that he isn't her type after having carefully looked at his profile and pics.

C'mon guys how many seconds to get to that block button and why would you? You're not her type lol.

Not venting just amused by it this morning.

Sorry? A man can block a woman?

Surely, only in an alternative universe does this happen?

There and to the left a bit

Wouldn't block for that reason personally - just accept and move on. In fact have only ever blocked two women both for homophobic comments on bi threads

Have you considered that they've blocked you so that they don't accidentally message you again in the future and annoy you? It also removes you from any searches.

Well the OP does claim to live in a fantasy realm. I guess shes put out that finding someone who meets your fancy is especially hard living with all the odd talking and presumably now typing humanistic creatures.

Never blocked anyone ever no need so I don't fancy someone big deal that's not a reason to block someone after all I don't fancy them sexually doesn't mean I don't like them as I human being .

On them grounds no need to block them is there .

I reckon it's an ego thing on their behalf in that case.

I only block guys who continually message or women who chat shit through a status and even then it's a '3 strikes' process.

I'm not 'venting' just very amused that I sent a very polite reply and was blocked in 1 second. People complain on here at receiving no replies, I reply to all messages. I'm not being hypocritical in no shape or form. Sorry if anyone is offended as that was not my intention today.

Admin can have the block button back

I have never blocked anyone can't ever see a reason why I ever would.

The only thing a block button achieves is a total inability to communicate and a wall that its virtually impossible to ever unbuild.

Those who block me are at liberty to do so I have no control over the actions of others.

I accept that sometimes the block button has its value ...

But even this thread suggests some block in haste...and after they have done so even if they may regret their actions it's hard to unblock simply on the grounds that once a position becomes entrenched the psychology of changing ones mind is over-ridden by a perception that to unblock may be seen by some as an admission to both parties that their original decision was open to question.

It's always easy to dig a hole...but once your in it then climbing out can be difficult...or even impossible...

I prefer it if they block me. They won't inadvertently message me again. I block them, so they have every right to block me.

As for blocking me before I have replied, that's nothing to do with trying to be dominant. I'm guessing they have had lots of no replies so block those too.

What is it with this repeated assumption about women telling blokes what to do or being in charge and how much we love it?

It's just an uneducated guess and a bit of a fantasy.

When I do I block them.

Men's status updates are usually

suck my cock

my balls are full

too many bitches on here

fuck me now

who wants my cum

Ok.

But do 'you' see updates about 'block lists growing'?

I'm interested to see if it's the same as what I see

I've just had a look at my local updates and there was one status from a guy about his block list growing. Yep, it definitely said block and not cock "

Ok that's 1 and thanks for checking and reporting back.

I'm genuinely interested to see if it's similar between the sexes as I do see it as a 'power' thing and if so I'd be suprised if it was only females that updated about it.

"I wish men I've said I'm not interested in would block me.

It would save them messaging me again a few weeks later with exactly the same message as the first time.

That's probably what the OP's guy did.

The block button is easy to press by accident on mobile. Or maybe that's just me being a numpty.

I have to open a menu first then scroll down I often miss and hit 'report' by accident and then press 'back' and start again

I meant in messages. I'm not a total dufus.

But umm yeah I'm always hitting report instead of reply in the forum. Ok I'm a dufus.

'Dufus' oh I lurve that word.....where does it originate from? Yes I'm a Wordsworth! The dictionary is my favourite book!! "

The midwife came up with it as soon as she saw me.

I'm crap with words.

in the eye of the storm

"I prefer it if they block me. They won't inadvertently message me again. I block them, so they have every right to block me.

As for blocking me before I have replied, that's nothing to do with trying to be dominant. I'm guessing they have had lots of no replies so block those too. "

all the dominants I've ever known wouldn't block anyone as they don't need to block to feel powerful ,

just saying most people block in the hope it will make the other person feel insignificant and themselves powerful.

That's a load of rubbish. I wish you'd stop thinking you know why other people use the tools on here. You don't. You can only know why you use the site how you use it.

"Which guy is the quickest at blocking a woman when she makes the effort to be well mannered and reply that he isn't her type after having carefully looked at his profile and pics.

C'mon guys how many seconds to get to that block button and why would you? You're not her type lol.

Not venting just amused by it this morning.

This just happened to you?

It's happened a couple of times. I think it's 'his' way of blocking me before I block him but ''tis so amusing. They complain of no replies but I reply to all messages.

I've been blocked just because I took 10 minutes to reply. Pressed send and boom! I'd already been blocked

Learn to type faster lol"

You should see me on the comment on the poster above threads. I'm still writing out my comment, press send and five other posters have already posted

little house on the praire

People tend to block so they dont come up in searches and a variery of weird and wonderful reasons. Nothing to do with a power trip. Well for me its not

"How I see it is, when some women block men they feel a little bit powerful and enjoy it. Ergo, they think that men blocking them feel the same and they don't like it.

But it's not always the case."

Nope. That's why I said some. Some people can only see things from their own point of view.
