Hi, has anyone who's been to Chams ever stayed in the "TRAVELLERS INN",on Wolverhampton Road, it has fab reviews but wondered how far away it actually is from the club..any advice on good nearby hotels would be welcome, thanks. |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
Haven`t used it myself but according to MS Autoroute it`s 10 miles away. That`s going to be one expensive taxi ride if you`re returning to the hotel in the small hours. I suppose you know there are great rooms at good value actually in the club plus there`s some rooms at the Greenhouse which is also not that far away and owned by Chams too!
Closest of the chains has to be the Premier which is close to M6 Jn 10. There`s also a Village close by. There`s two Holiday Inn Express`s, one nearby the hotel you mentioned and one dead opposite the Village but expect to pay dearly for these unless you have a frequent user discount. Great hotels though! |

I prefer to stay at the Holiday Inn Express off Junction 10 of M6 in Walsall. It is quite new and the rooms have individual air con. And the breakfast is free.
It is only about 10min drive from Chams, and taxi costs 6 GBP each way I believe.
There is also a Village Hotel nearby which I believe does not have air con.
There is also a KFC within the compound.
The compound is only a couple of minutes from M6 Junction 10, and is very handy for access to the M5 for my way home.
I stayed at the "Birmingham Walsall" Travelodge once as I got a cheap room, and the hotel was dire, in that a refurbishment is long overdued! Never again!
Besides, it is not as easy to access the M6 compared with the HIE off Junction 10.
I too have stayed at one of the rooms at Chams. Not bad, however, I prefer HIE.
Hope this helps.

your best staying at the club if they have a room but if they are full the greenhouse, gay sauna owned by same people, have accommodation rooms that people from chams can use when their rooms are full, its only down the road, costs £3 in a taxi |

Chams is your best bet and the rooms are great. If you can't get booked in at chams then the premeir inn at bentley green is your next best bet, just off jn 10 m6. Cost us £4 last time each way. |

"Hi, has anyone who's been to Chams ever stayed in the "TRAVELLERS INN",on Wolverhampton Road, it has fab reviews but wondered how far away it actually is from the club..any advice on good nearby hotels would be welcome, thanks. " If that's the one at 999 Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, then as has been said, it's about 10 miles. If you're really wanting to stay there, then Google "Bull Stake Cars", the company that Chams uses, give them a call and ask for a price.
