Do you call the tower Elizabeth Tower or do you follow the Victorian journalists and call it St. Staphen's Tower?

I knew it was called so and so tower but have always referred to it as Big Ben..

tourists always knew what one meant when using that also..

I've always known it as St. Stephen's tower and it's in the news that the bell, Big Ben, is going to be out of action for 4 years for repairs, but they call it Elizabeth Tower.
