Probably guesswork by some 'statistician' who had nothing better to do.
The Russian thing could be true, due to the cold weather affecting how sperm swim. Or something to do with the men dying in wars.

Men and women’s clothes are buttoned on opposite sides because in the past few centuries, in high society, men generally dressed themselves whereas women were dressed by servants. Reversing the buttons on women’s clothes made the job faster and easier |

You are in fact correct about wars part. 8.7 million russian soldiers died in conflict during ww2 the larger majority of that being men.
Hence why in Russia you see some incredibly beautiful women with men that could be shreks brother.  |

On average, men lie six times a day and women three times a day.
Psychologists from the University of Texas, Austin, asked 105 men to rate the attractiveness of women they were told had outperformed them on intelligence tests.
The men expressed more interest in the women with a higher intelligence than them over those with lower intelligence.
The men were then asked to pick women they'd date. This reversed the result and the men were more likely to choose to date a woman who was less intelligent.
Researchers suggested, "Feelings of diminished masculinity accounted for men’s decreased attraction toward women who outperformed them."
It also suggests that what men say and what they do differs. Who knew?
This was backed up in other research, in which more men said they preferred brunettes to blondes. They attributed intelligence more to brunettes. But in hidden camera tests, more men tried to chat up blondes than brunettes. |

Female bodies burn fat much slower than male bodies, at the rate of about 50 calories per day. Female muscles and tendons contain more elastin, which is what makes women more flexible. The corpus callosum in the female brain is larger, which is what allows women to multitask more effectively than men |

I had a very similar conversation with a few male friends. They said they go for blondes first on nights out because they find them easier to pull! .

iirc from mythbusters women are significantly less tolerant of pain but they do have about twice as many nerve endings in thier skin making them more sensitive.

I inherited nothing from my father nor one of my 2 ex husbands - the chance to inherit would be fantastic as i dislike them profusely.
I don't cry - ever. I think i've probably cried 6 times in the last 30 years - show no weakness!
Apart from that if it's all true then i guess only women can change those statistics...

There's a reason women are so emotional and men shouldn't complain so much about it.
Researchers from the University of Tübingen in Germany showed subjects pictures of women pretending either to be scared or sad.
It cannot be denied that scared or sad are quite common emotions women express when faced with some email from men on this site.
The subjects were asked to guess how the women were feeling. The researchers discovered that when the men felt certain about a woman’s emotion, it lit up the brain’s pleasure circuits and they became more attracted to these women.

Drs aren't goibg to be swayed by a vs myth and Drs dont give a shit about the cost of painkillers so would never influence prescribing based on a myth started by ??? (nhs accountants?) for the reason of saving a few pence |

I'm a single mother too. Some of those guys looked at me like I suddenly became unworthy. But when they found out my career, higher end qualifications and I'm going to buy my own home (which they brought up in the first place), they looked at me as if they hated me even more! I couldn't win!

This isn't what I mean . I personally wouldn't care what education a man has or hasn't had. I wouldn't care if a guy was a road sweeper or in a high end management job. I believe both type of guys would take great pride in their work so both types are just has fab as each other.

I'm no PHD level lady either. My grammar has a lot to be desired at times . It's just on past dates, guys ask what I do and how qualified am I once I tell them. They've been immediately put off. It's as if they wouldn't feel much of a man if they settled down with me because I'd be earning more then them.
