Yes the same lady, she made an album in the 80's. It was written by serge gainsbourg and name-checked by the band Sparks (both of whom i love) in a recent interview which is how I came by it.

Have you Mark Lanegan and Isobel Campbell's album The Ballad of The Broken Seas?
Her angelic twee voice and his grasping rock roar harmonise together unbelievably well. Very different from his usual stuff but well worth a listen. |
