Someone's just mentioned that summer is coming to an end. To me there weren't many times that I thought, this is summer, I've worn a light jacket of some sort most of the summer as it's been cold or raining. What's your thoughts? |

There have been good days at parks and beaches, Amsterdam etc but as a whole it didn't really feel like summer. But saying that I'm a guy who likes winter and Christmas time. |

Not quite sure has been much of a summer. Was a funny start to the year and then warmed right up only to get a cold snap of minus come right back.
It certainly has been warm the odd day but far from the hot days of past year. Never heard no hottest day of year or since records began  this year like always seem to hear year in year out. From a gardening point of view its been a short summer and am noticing vast fall off in temperature in evening times of late. Mind due I'm sure its predicted a bad winter this year...so maybe its in line.
Still in Devon the weather in general is rather good and the ambient temp not bad mostly  |

When you say bad winter i hope you mean plenty snow because I love that stuff, winter wonderland and all that, sorry to all the drivers and who ever will be flying during that time. |

Yeah I love snow also. Although Britain seems to grind to a halt with even just a sprinkle. Still I do remember the days of massive amounts during childhood.
No sadly a bad winter of masses of rain and storms. Like flooding we ain't seen before, but guess its all just guess work the weather

I weren't happy last year a few inches and my flight was cancelled!! You are correct though he country cannot handle a lot of snow even though I want it, I read the rivers are drying up so rain or snow would do some good |
