Live and let die
How to save a life
Seasons in the sun
Going underground
Chop suey
Live forever
And one of the songs I want playing at my funeral, the ace of spades
*that's the way I like it baby I don't want to live forever* |

There and to the left a bit |
True story from when I used to go and see Spurs play back in the 80's they once played Road To Hell by Chris Rea in remembrance of a fan who had been killed in a motorbike accident....the sharp intake of breath around the ground when it came on was palpable.
There must have been complaints too as there was a thing in the programme at the next game explaining his family had requested the song as it was his favourite!! |

They played Hello by Lionel Richie at my uncle's funeral. It was like a group gasp and the tears flowed. I was sad but I did think can no one see the irony of that song x |

Love it....Definitely want either Smoke Gets In Your Eyes and Light My Fire if I'm cremated or Going Underground if I'm buried
Ashes To Ashes by Bowie is another that's not been mentioned |
