Just stumbled across this.. No i don't watch a lot of TV..!.. How dating is moving on or is it too much?? I mean I'm quite proud of my average but trimmed totally non gym figure and everythingbin good proportion lol but I'd never go on that!!! Thoughts??!! |

It's an interesting perspective of "dating" we have on line date sites, speed dating and for the old school brave souls..... the actually approach someone for s date!
But this program strips away our prethought assumptions of someone based upon what their wearing and therefore their social standings in life. Brings us all to an even level, ok when the chooser strips as well it does!
It's also Similar to a club, you get to see what the other looks like naked, before choosing to approach! So what's the difference???

Which lady are you referring to? The lady last night seemed sane, level headed and quite nice. That is a bit harsh, they have both gone on a TV programme presumably knowing what's expected so I agree with her, he should have seen it through. |

I'd hope it's a sign of a loosening of the famous british sexual prepression, evident in the attitude of older members here saying it's not for them. Nothing wrong with that attitude but it's a fading one, which is probably a good thing. We need more freedom of sexuality, I think we can all agree.
I've been reading Sara Pascoe's book, Animal, which is excellent. Part of it covers the need for more education of young people to take away stigmas about things like women's periods. They teach girls what's going to happen to their bodies but not boys, so it remains something they have to be nudge nudge about, making allusions about painters and decorators, Arsenal playing at home, etc. Anything but what it actually is, which is some kind of taboo.

It occurred to me watching this last week that it's not really that different from Fab in that you (usually) get to see various body parts before you see the face and make an initial decision whether to pursue someone based on those body part pics alone.
