Horse lol! You can ride in the rain of course, hacking is fine, but it's really hard to school dressage in heavy rain on a sensitive horse, not to mention unpleasant for us both, and all the leather tack gets wet and it's just a right pain..... Whaaaaa! |

"It's certainly stopped me working today
Oh, what kind of work, can you say? You must be having a bad summer financially then "
A rather specific part of the building trade, yeah it's not great but luckily at the moment we get paid rather a lot more than we used to so it's not the end of the world when we get rained off |

I don't mind summer rain. Warm/wet is ok and doesn't stop me doing stuff outdoors. Winter cold/wet, not so much. Actually, sex in warm rain is rather nice, call me weird... |

But it doesn't seem to be warm at all anymore, I've got jods and a fleece on zipped up to my chin and I'm still chilly! I can't wait for it to change back to summer, this can't carry on for ever! |

Raining here in Salisbury. It's been raining for weeks and is also doing my nut in.
You open the curtains every morning and it's dark, wet and flipping miserable.
Summer should be renamed to "shit". |

I started working on a eventing yard when I was 17 and when it was raining the the girl that had the horses would ride me because she couldn't ride her horses. That was the best year of my life xx |

Wanders out of man cave..
Sun's out on the beach...
Sky's blue clouds soft and fluffy..
Even the sand in warm..
Back to the cave for a nice cold drink...
And see if anyone wants to share a beach with me ...

"We feel sorry for the farmers trying to get their corn in. Not looking good for them. "
No, not funny at all. At lest we had fabulous haymaking weather for once, and I think they got quite ahead earlier in the year. |

Northumberland farmers looked to get a lot of their harvest sorted last week, by the looks of it when I was there. Great weather even though it was forecast to be storms all week! |

Just enjoyed a glorious drive home over Kirkstone Pass, alongside Ullswater, beautiful sunshine all the way, awesome views, just don't tell anyone; we want people to keep thinking it only ever rains in the Lake District |

Yikes!! I wouldn't like to do that in traffic, rural Glos was fine but not here in the land of the fluorescent riders! |
