Just wondering how common these people are, i've seen the odd post here and there, and been chatting to a couple of lovely couples.
We get people who just seem to want to piss around. We have had to cancel a meet but we are going to re-arrange, mother nature. We are completely clear on our profile, no reading between the lines to be had there, also in messages. I became incredibly intolerant last week went through messages deleted and a few blocks, call it PMT, either interested or not we aren't here to beg anyone.
We have experienced a club so not quite as we were. We think we aren't that bad lol, but why do others bother going to actually arranging a meet for 2 days time ask for your address, which you obviously need to give and they ignore you? You know they read can see your address without opening it and they are online.
So here i am, a woman, husband leaves the house obviously, school holidays, and arseholes have our home address. These people should know how they make people feel. Vulnerable, the husband was talking to them, kind of i started and he carried it on. Then a week later they pop up oh sorry work commitments |

"1. Block them
2. Don't meet at your house
"
We meet at our house with no problems.
Don't give out your full address, just your postcode then you can meet them outside. We don't give the house number till they phone to say they are on our street. It's worked perfectly well for us |

You've arranged a meet at yours and the person/people cancelled? That isn't timewasting really because they let you know. We don't give our address until we've had a social and are an hour or so away from a meet and some people will meet away from their home and take their meet back without giving the full address. If it concerns you stick to clubs.
Good luck |

no they didn't cancel as i said my husband gave them our address when they arranged the meet 2 days before then, they were online on here and didn't bother to message us to cancel. They said a definite.
But thanks for the advice, once burnt, the reason at home was we have kids and it was once they were all out of the way so to speak. I wasn't involved in the chat myself |

I got rather fed up (and a little paranoid) about strangers (who remained strangers by virtue of not showing up) knowing exactly where I live. So here's how I play it:
There's a nearby postcode on my profile (some shops about half a mile away) for them to get an idea of distance.
I text my postcode when they're setting out.
I text my house number when they text me to say they're outside.
Not foolproof. Someone who really wanted my address could lie about being outside. But so far (touch wood) it has never happened. If it does, I may add a step where they have to describe something in the street before getting the house number. |

We wld arrange a social first if we like we wld invite them for fun in a hotel we wld hve booked. If they don't show the room still isn't wasted as Parker & i can certainly find a way to amuse ourselves. |

i agree with above, only give out your postcode then they have an idea where you are by GPS and can plan how long it'll take to get to yours that way.
tell them to message you on the day for your address. if they don't message then they don't know it. |
