We see a lot of updates stating that it would help to read the profile before messaging. I totally agree with that.
Our profile states what we like and prefer with our potential playmates. Still we receive messages where it's quite obvious that it wasn't read and we don't reply, saves a lot of time with the amount of messages we sometimes receive. Not replying makes them message again and again and when saying ' no thank you, not for us' we receive messages asking why not and what's wrong with them!!!
Really thankful for the block option and grateful that there's no limit to the amount of people you can block!!!
Please read the profiles!!

I have just that as a status atm.
I really don't want my profile to make me look like a ranty pants but it's so tempting!
A huge percentage of my messages are from guys who clearly haven't read my profile, it's irritating me!!

I think a lot blanket message hoping for a bite. They don't make the effort to read profiles as they know most won't reply anyway. There are some who make the effort though. I don't let it get to me. I just ignore the ones who have clearly ignored my profile |

OP. I've just had a quick look at your profile and I can't see much there that tells me much about yourselves, bar that you have specific requirements regards the type of potential partners.
I see many posts stating [bemoaning] the lack of supposed profile reading, and wonder whether what is actually meant is that the messages just aren't from the type of people that the profile holder is looking for.. Eg. 'Looking for attractive people' |

Surely that's the problem, "most don't reply anyway". I'm going to roll out the old 'set up your filters properly, and it won't be a problem' chestnut here..
A standard/generic/copy and paste message is the only appropriate response to poorly written profiles which rarely contain any real information yet are heavily verified. |
