Good for you OP
What plan is it?
I'm trying to lose a bit of weight too - and have reduced my calories / carbs and am trying to exercise more - cycle commute to work - walk more etc..
After 5 weeks I'm down 20 lbs
The weight loss has slowed down now though and only lost 0.6 lbs today at my weigh in
Probably something to do with all the wine I had on Saturday night |

I saw results from week one!, good luck to you and I find that every day since I've started getting myself fitter has been encouraging in and of itself, I breath more easily and deeper, my working week is easier to complete, my body shape is changing incrementally.
Plus I bought fitness gear in the sales to perk my wardrobe up, I go jogging whilst half asleep to trick myself into exercising before I know what's happening lol... I've incorporated napping into my post workouts as I enjoy them so much... I've set goals I've completed.... and lastly if I eat something I shouldn't have, I do so without guilt, with full enjoyment and gratitude and I make sure I get back on track re my regimen asap. It's been a longtime coming and I'm enjoying every moment which I think is why I'm continually motivated... x |

I started to get badly out of shape mid twenties. I was like a yo-yo. I went to america for 10 weeks and dropped 2 stone and never looked back. My advice is, and this was from a fried. If you are gonna go out over the weekend, just make sure you hit the gym extra the week before and after. Its a small quote but works good for me. Theres no point living if we cant have a few treats along the way! |

I am doing the Body coach 90day SSS plan. It's good to know I am not the only on that journey. More activity always helps .
Next month the program will involve some different activities so should keep it interesting while doing the videos.
That's fantastic! They say that smaller increments are part and parcel as you get closer to your target weight. The advice I was given was to make the exercise different and/or more intense the closer your get to your target weight. The wine always take a couple days to slow down weight loss damn it haha. I am not drinking until after these 3 months.
How are you feeling about your progress? Where do you want to get to? For me the weight is secondary to if I actually look better. Xx

I just don't like the gym- I wouldn't mind it if it was empty!
3 months off alcohol was also my original plan oops!
I hope to lose another 30lbs - what about you?
And of course it's not about the number on the scale it's all about looking and feeling better about yourself x

And if you want to exercise maybe start with something like brisk walking? |

It's just I weighed myself recently and I was shocked that I was 13 stone, heaviest I've ever been.
As I rarely weigh myself.
Last time I weighed myself I was like 11stone.
That was a few years ago
I'm thinking of loosing a stone. |

Same here mate...I was 12'10 when I got weighed a couple of months back. Now down to 11'10 another half a stone and I'll be happy |

Just take your time OP Rome wasn't built in a day , don't burn yourself out to early then you'll get hacked off & lose motivation , keep telling yourself you can do it but be safe |

Thank you both! today is a rest day and glad for it. Batch made some Thai red curry paste turkey mince with red pepper, a dollop of sour cream and squeeze of lime.
Some food options I want to be careful of. Easily ended up having 20 eggs a week. I know I can do it! just need to stick at it.xo |

Defo turkeymince with peppers tonight and a dollop of sour cream with lime juice. It was HIIT last night and will be until the weather outside cools. Then it's running 5km on the evening. It's still 90% humidity here and 60% at night and 40 degrees plus. Though while I am back in the UK for a week I will be running |

It depends on your goals but remember that a more muscular physique or biceps can be smaller without the fat and water weight. Your waist measurement is possibly the most important of the ones you've taken. |

It is good and there are so many types if I don't particular enjoy one plan. The variety really helps. I do all the work out following the videos in front of the TV with my workout matt.
I know that feeling in the gym. That has been the only time I am happy at one, when its empty. Felt horrible when people are watching. Found working out on my own at home or hitting the road running more enjoyable.
The drink I am sticking to as I know it will slow down my progress. 26 pounds to my healthy weight. Though the thigh, bicep, waist, hips and chest measurements are the ones that will count. Will keep you posted |

It'll certainly help. And while technically yes, you out run (of exercise in general) a donut, it takes more work than many realise. Eat good nutritious food in sensible portions. Allow the occasional blowout, but please get out of the habit of treats. You didn't earn a treat, you're an adult. |

90 days is plenty to see a massive drastic change. Beginning of the year I was 14st. 3 months later I was 11.6st and competition ready as I was competing. First week you should loose a lot then it'll steady off. The motivation is seeing the body change in the mirror. If your extremely strict, train hard and do your cardio you'll easily see weekly results. It's like a story. Towards then end of the story or final 4 weeks is when you'll see bigger changes. You'll be fine. Just work hard mate |

OP - if you have the will power and motivation then 90 days is plenty of time to see a change in your body. The human body is an amazing thing and if you are willing to put the hard work and discipline in you will see amazing results.

Following my stem cell transplant im looking to bulk up a bit and put some weight and muscle back on, ive got a personal trainer once a week for now then when im fitter and back to normal the plan is to work out 2/3 times a week
Motivation is to be the fittest and strongest ive ever been, plus i remember him saying "we are going to make you into a fit bastard not a fat bastard"

Update! Thanks everyone for your messages of support. Day 8 and after first week I have dropped 3kg and back under 80kg. Mostly water weight, but a start none the less. Other measurements in 3 weeks time. 5 out of 7 days working out. Rest day today and back at it tomorrow. The breakfast options have been really filling and helped massively. Evening post workout meals gave been just right. Wondering whether to change my HIIT exercise routine this week. Any tips or ideas are much appreciated. Xo |

I got a bit too thin, so I initiated a plan of cake and crips. It wasn't easy but I figured the suffering would be worth it when I had my old thighs back. |

I'm in a catch 22 situation, need to lose some weight before an op on a large hernia but can do no gym work.
I feel utterly stuck right now and without even really eating much weight is going on.
Any advice anyone.
Can do no lifting or straining etc. |

Just keep at it...it took me over a week to lose my first lb and that was eating 1 small meal at teatime then a apple or pear before bed to take the hunger off.
Second week it was around 2 lb and so on until I had lost a stone and now it's back down to 1 lb a week.
But things speed up if you have more to lose as I'm only 4 lb off my target.
And the hunger has gone now |

That sounds like a stressful situation lovely... and if you're anything like me then people/situations stressing me out usually means I misbehave more before I pull myself together.
I'm not a professional so I'd double check this info is suitable for your situation... Fasting could be an idea... If you eat meat then organic bone broth fasting might work for you without you feeling deprived as bone broth made over a 24hr period tastes amazing and you'll shed weight as it's highly nutritious whilst being low in calories...
I have a plan of currently consuming fruit and green veggies with a juice fast, I'm then moving on to water melon fasting and then ending with bone broth fasting... baring in mind I did the 7days Jadon Vale book juice fasting... and I also completed 21 days water fasting last year (not for the faint of heart, stressed out peeps or anyone doing it for invalid reasons)...

Jesus Christ that seems like a needless glut of fad diets.
you're basically moving from an exclusively sugar based diet of fruit to a zero carb diet of stock.
neither diet actually provides the RDA of anything either.
litteraly the most retarded diet post I've read. |

You're entitled to your "retarded" opinion... They're all effective for dropping weight without exercise which is what the lady is asking for... And I lost 7lbs in 7 days with the Juice fast and a stone and a half with the water fast... As I said I'm not a pro and each person's responsible for their research... But tbf lovely I'm uninterested in your opinion I'm not asking for your feedback. I was responding to a request by someone overly stressed who needs speedy results for an imminent operation... So if you can provide a better solution that leads to a positive outcome instead of just dishing out opinions and negativity, then please do... You seem knowledgeable maybe you'd have some actual effective knowledge to pass on?

Tread mill is where it's at (not that I use one these days)
But yeah slow walk into a jog into a run and slow it back down. Up your time each day and start messing with the gradients and boom weight will drop off you. |

I appreciate everyone has there own views and different journeys. I am sharing mine and getting tips from people on how they maintained there journeys. I can't look back now. It's not even the 90 days I am thinking about. This is a change of lifestyle and diet long term . The food will change after 30 days and again after another 30. Then I will look to do the sustain plan for 30 days that will get me on a path I will stick to for the rest day of my days. 4 months against potentially the next 40 years. It's a no brainer for me and jussi kicking myself for not doing sooner. |

Your doing great op.
Sustaining it is not all that bad once you have lost your target weight...as I say around 35 years back I went from 16st to 12st. ..this continued to around 3 years back were I gained over a stone.
Second time around was a lot harder to shed that stone though |

Update! Well second week done and I have dropped around 800g. Which I have been told is about right after the water weight is gone.
I am changing my workout routine for some variety. Though i feel like the only change has been the waist. Side on view it's starting to look flatter. I am not measuring though for another 2 weeks at the end of first cycle. On to week 3! |
