Bread, blimey.

My mum had the best of bread on vinyl when I was little. Brown writing on a beige background. None more 70's. not my kind of thing but hearing 'guitar man' does evoke being back in early 80's Cov, playing in my living room.

As there's been 6 of them (actual Sugababes that is) over the years, you'd have thought that at least some of them might have been able to chuck a new album out

When I have a Deep Purple day, it actually runs into 2 days as they have recorded 20 studio albums

Sugababes vs Stereo MCs mashup, anybody?

Meanwhile, I have been listening to Girls by The 1975:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkubQCI4Fxo

I like to think they called themselves The 1975 because 1975 was the Greatest Year For Music Ever. "How so, Lisa?" you may ask. Because glam rock was dead and punk hadn't yet started, so there were no formulaic bandwagons for anybody to jump on, just lots of creativity. Some artists did their best work that year: Dylan's Blood on the Tracks, Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti, Springsteen's Born to Run, etc etc.

There's quite a few people in a town very close to mine that are inter bread. Never got the hype myself but each to their own.

Have to say I've not managed to trawl the whole back catalogue of JB but I love his album 'The Payback'. The title track and 'Mind power' are probably my all-time fave JB tunes.

Been lucky enough to see SFA a couple of times, and gryff solo. Always fun.
