So we always perve in stealth mode 
I've started to realise though that this may be counter productive, I say this because we get many repeat viewers, and I've started to wonder is this a way of saying' we're' interested, if so then do they think that we are not interested back because essentially they think we don't look at them 
What are your thoughts on stealth mode?

We look in stealth too,i always assume if someone looks and doesnt message ,they are not interested and have maybe forgotten they have looked .
I think it saves people messaging ,asking why you have looked ,but not got in touch.

I always view in stealth mode. If you Fab a guys picture just cos you think it's a good picture they message you and maybe you don't want to chat youvwere just fabbing a picture. If guys saw me viewing their profile they would message and sometimes the avatar looks good but you don't like the rest.
I know how to message people and will message the people I'm interested in. |

There's only one reason I use stealth mode....if I like a profile and find the pictures, I may view them in mire than one occasion.
Put quite simply I don't want them to feel uncomfortable being looked at several times.
Other than that I don't care who knows I looked. In fact...im going to turn it off and see what happens ! |

I view in stealth mode because I don't want the "hi, you looked at me, fancy a fuck messages" just because I looked at them. If I look and I AM interested, I'll message. |

I view it as the opposite, a view with no message means she isn't interested in me so there's no need to message her confirming it. |

From most guys point of view, we aren't generally inundated with messages. I do however get the occasional 'You peeked but didn't say Hi' message (tho not that often) so it makes sense not to use stealth mode and perhaps miss out on someone who might otherwise have taken a shine to me. |

I don't bother with stealth as I rarely get viewed. Although I may view ladies multiple times it's usually because I like them and they may have changed a picture or something. I'm sure if it was an issue, they'd simply block me. |

Sometimes it takes a few views over a period of time and getting a feel for someone on the forums before a message would be sent, in my case anyway. |

someone did that to me recently.. I didn't change my behaviour, to be honest, I forgot we made friends. but every time we spike briefly.. it was a little electric for it.

This has made me view things differently.
There was me disheartened by the lack of female views to my profile, when in reality there is a possibility that there is a lovely lady or 2 that go stealth on me because they are extremely attracted by me and keep popping on my pics for a lady wank, but they are far too shy to say anything to me for fear of embarrassment and rejection?!

Let's face it, sites like this are the human equivalent of dogs sniffing each others' bottoms. Don't you want to know how often yours was sniffed and who by? Don't you think they're entitled to know the same about you? This is specifically a hook-up site to meet people for sex. Why circumvent one of the best mechanisms for finding out who might be interested?
I don't feel 'perved at' because someone looked at the public images in my public profile. If I see someone looking more than once, it might tempt me to look at theirs, and fire off a message if I might want to meet them.
I do have a similar feature turned off on a certain other site, but then I don't use that one as a contacts site.
Also, if I recall correctly, going stealth on here removes the ability to see who had visited your profile. I check that out occasionally, not least to see if anyone I've blocked on FabGuys is still mooching here, or vice versa. |

Pretty sure you will only show up on their 'Looked at me' when you are unhidden. If they aren't online at the time you 'unhide' they won't see you've looked.

Stealth viewing is ok, everyone has the right to do this but……………
I won't be renewing my 'paid membership' due to this as it seems pointless to pay for something that can be hidden from you anyway!

If you do that they won't see you have looked. As soon as you go back to stealth mode anbody you have viewed doesn't see you have viewed them. I only know because Admin once said that is what happens. |

you do realise that when you go back in to stealth mode all your views are hidden again
so the guy you want to know you looked at wont know as you wont show up on his list "
