Current experience on Fab

Hey there, so far it seems I have had very little luck on this site. I have had meets cancelled at last minute or been given dodgy directions with place and road names misspelled (pub instead of tavern, road instead of avenue etc).
Could these have been dodgy profiles?
I still have a few things I am working on that might not come to fruition for a couple of weeks but, for the moment, other than giving another Fab member a lift home from work one night I have not actually met anyone from the site. It does start to get a little disheartening and make you wonder how many profiles are fake. |

Thing is the accounts that have given me a lack of info to reach them have both been on the site for a while with a few verifications. so I would have expected them to be good accounts. |

Don't expect anything
You just have to use your judgement
Sometimes you will get it wrong
I have been on sites like this for 17 years
I have had let downs on all of them
I have also had great experiences from all of them
Being 'messed about' is, at one time or another an unfortunate reality for most members of sites like this. |

A house number or we will meet you here and take you back to ours would be better than the vague details or incorrect details as mentioned in the first post. |

Check the address details you're given before you set off. If you're given a street name have a check it exists, same goes for a pub. If someone wants to meet you elsewhere then take you to their home say no. Maybe switch to having a social first in a neutral location that you suggest or that you mutually agree on.
Good luck, there are people on here who strangely find it amusing to mess people about but most of us are ok. |

Keep yourself to yourself that's my advice.
If you do arrange a meet just go in the clothes you were already that day and then if they do turn up give yourself a personal wash with a flannel in the toilet. |

Umm no but if you were in their house you would use their flannel and do the seesaw and keyhole surgery in the bum with their flannel then put it back!
Point is don't go to any effort and make plans with your friends anyway then if they do get in touch you can slink off to the meet. |

Disorganised maybe, fickle perhaps, human definitely.
You don't accommodate. If you did you'd be able to give people the right address but maybe then you'd have to start threads on how folk don't turn up.
It's also worth remembering that approx one is six people in the population have mental problems and about a quarter are in prison in any case...... fnarrrrrrrrr maybe they are filling in the lonely hours in their cell by talking to fabbers.
From now on..... do this. Make arrangements to meet people half way. You can always drive them back home.
Have a plan B for if they don't turn up.
Have a social first so that you know you like them and can trust them.
Start charging for lifts home from work ..... ( fucking cheek )
Have car sex instead.
Get pics. Chat on the phone. Make sure they are legit.
Stop letting a hard on make you say yes to everything that's offered.
Engage brain before knob

Still new to this so all somewhat helpful advice.
The lift home was offered to have a chat with the young lady as a bit of a social whilst also helping her out. |

 I always have a back up plan. If they don't turn up it doesn't matter, I have a nice day out.
OP good advice already on this thread. Trust your gut. Even verified people can be arseholes. |

I have been very lucky. I have about 3-4 sexy women be my bike a year. I only started using the forum this year, I was warned away from it when I joined.
If you use the forums a lot and are having no luck, maybe focus on meeting. |
