My dad is still with us, but the first time I heard this song it broke me. I can't imagine life without my dad. I came close to losing him a few years ago and I'd have happily swapped places with him. I love my dad more than life itself and I dread to the pit of my stomach the day I play this and he's no longer here. |

To my ex. Our split was his decision and things appear to have worked out very well for him. But if you were to listen to him when he interacts with me, you'd very much think he'd been the injured party. I just wish 2.5 years on he'd let it go.
