Probably too intelligent for some on here who seem to just require action and blowing up, but just watched a very creepy Iranian Horror film called "Under the Shadow" but does involved reading subtitles so like I say bit too involving for some folks on here! The director won a Bafta too much deserved |

another Iranian classic is " A girl who walked home at night"... not that I'm too intelligent lol..but its very well shot and a bizarre story. |

another Iranian classic is " A girl who walked home at night"... not that I'm too intelligent lol..but its very well shot and a bizarre story."

I've always loved a film called "Death Sentence" but a lot of people don't seem to know of it.
Kevin Bacon stars as a man whos Son is murdered in a gang initiation crime and the justice system fails.
He basically loses his shit and goes after them. |

I found the Human Centipedes amusing. Typical B movie crap. Two girls one cup doesn't even warrant a mention. |

This week I've watched:
The Revenant, excellent
Get Out, scary, weird and v good
The Magnificent Seven, bloody loved it
Also been to the cinema to see Dunkirk which was superb.

No, never watched a serbian film, I avoid the sadistic films generally. I must have been around 19 when I watched 8mm, so perhaps a little naive, there was a scene in I guess a market place selling porn and seeing it all labeled up with quite horrific names, it was that element I found disturbing that these places will exist somewhere, I felt really quite horrible and uncomfortable after. |

'I didn't come here to die' is an interesting film if you like low budget horror, it's a slasher type film with no killer as such. Things just go from bad to worse lol
'Land mine goes click' is another good low budget horror
And of course 'Eden lake' which I've just finished watching on the telly AGAIN lol is excellent if you're a fan of British horror

Song Of The Sea, one of the best animated films to come out in the past few years.
What We Do In The Shadows/ Hunt For The Wilderpeople. Both proving that Taika Waititi is a genius.
Or one of my favourite films of all time, Princess Mononoke. |
