".... your children find out that mum and dad have sex with other people? "
This crossed my mind the other day sat in the doctors with my (young) teen daughter directly across from a hepatitis B poster which contained the terms 'casual sex' and 'multiple partners'. Which of course she then asked me about and, after I'd explained (in hushed tones) her reaction was 'urrgghh, that's disgusting' I think I said something along the lines of different people have different outlooks and it didn't harm anyone if you were considerate and looked after your health but I wasn't about to make the discussion personal to me. Hopefully I'll never have to, though if it arose I'd be honest and hope by that time she'd be emotionally mature enough not to be worried or upset. |

I'm just curious.. how do you not make it personal to yourself.. because now your daughter kinda knows your position on it? I mean, how to you think she's been affected by your response since she clearly thought it's disgusting? Hmm |

Like imagine you discover your dad was sucking cock and mom was watching it and cheering it. Or mom getting gangbanged...
Is swinging something you're ashamed to tell your kids about or do you try to make them accepting of swinging in the way you raise them?
I guess my question is... do you want swinging for your kids? |

My son's already know I have sex with different men, it's quite obvious when I go out in my kinky boots. It doesn't bother them, they don't ask about my private life and visa versa. They don't have a dad anymore though. However if I mention my first husband at all, they scowl like fuck and get bad tempered! XXX |

I'm not so sure my daughter will have thought too profoundly about it . She's still at the age where anything 'rude' is hilarious and revels in drawing attention to anything sex related when there's a justifiable reason to do so. I highly suspect she did so the other day, not out of genuine curiosity but a spontaneous opportunity to mention 'sex'. She usually describes anything sexual as 'disgusting' but with a morbid fascination if you know what I mean? If I'd got embarrassed and/or giggly about it she'd have loved that - so giving her a deadpan, matter of fact response took the wind out of her sails. And even if I didn't swing, I'd have given her that answer anyway, so whilst she may have gleaned that I'm open minded and non judgemental from that exchange, I don't see how she'd deduce from it that I have sex with 'other people'. |
