Our local social club having a Ska / northern soul night in aid of Help the Heroes.

Are you a two tone ska fan or not.

Can't wait to get me pork pie hat on.

I'm not a 'fan' but do enjoy ska, I've seen The Specials, The Beat and Selecta.

and a few modern Ska punk bands too.

Got the Specials on in the background. Ghostown is a wicked tune.

Great dance tunes

"Big Northern Soul fan here "

Wasted most of my youth at "Wigan Casino".

Or should I say "spent most of my youth wasted at Wigan Casino".

Went to see the legendary Toots & the Maytals on Thursday, guy must be nearly 70 but was absolutely jumping; fantastic gig. Eclectic crowd who Toots had eating out his hand. I did notice he is on tour this month and next and at Wolverhampton at the beginning of September, it is a joint night with him and Jimmy Cliff, if that isn't worth £35 of your pounds I don't know what is???
