Too much like hard work. You either click with someone or you don't. No amount of sitting in awkward silence at restaurants or watching cheesy rom-com drivel at the movies will tell you if you're gonna be good together.

Vanilla dates are good provided the both people make an effort to talk, have a laugh and choose an appropriate location for the date; so both people can feel relaxed and comfortable.
Vanilla dates can be expensive though, depending on what the date entails and let's be honest; both of their intentions are to rip eachother clothes off if they connect, so think a social meet with a possibility to play is a better option (Saves the bullsh*t).
