You could have 2 heads, 4 fannies and webbed feet and blokes would still tell you how gorgeous you looked, especially if they're standing in front of you with a hard on, so stretch marks ain't going to bother 'em |

""He kissed my stretch marks! No one ever kissed my stretch marks."
Shirley Valentine talking about Costas" I just thught of that... tbh I dont think blokes are going to look at your stretch marks when they have bigger nad better targets ie you boobs and fanny to explore...;-) |

It does depend on how bad the stretch marks are and the type of body they are on. Stretch marks over a firm body arent anywhere near as bad as when its on someone who clearly doesnt look after themselves. Like you say, everyone gets stretch marks, its part of life. Even guys get them from teenage growth spurts. Id say forget about stretch marks and look at how toned your body is.
But hey, thats just my opinion and as a guy I know that counts for nothing lol |

4 kids and I've got them on my bum, thighs and stomach - they grew a little bit with each baby. Baby no 4 also meant a few appeared on my boobs. Do I feel self conscious about them? No - I used to, but I can't change them and I have them because of my babies. Also they've faded and I'm very fair skinned anyway, so it's not so much of a big deal. |

ive thought about tattooes over some of mine as ive wanted some more tatts for a while, sure i read before though that it doesnt work as well over skin with strech marks or scars so most places would say no |

Not a fan of horrendous stretch marks tbh. Siren was paranoid she'd get bad ones during her first pregnancy but she didn't get a single one. None on this pregnancy either yet. She has a couple of faint ones on her boobs that she says was a result of her developing early but they're hardly noticeable. |

I have been very lucky. Two children and didn't get any. My otherhalf massaged me with lavender oil every night. Maybe it worked, maybe luck and not getting very big. Various oils out there which can help fade them though. It wouldn't bother us if an attractive lady had them though. Try not to worry about them.

I'm not bothered by stretch marks. They're a lot of reasons why both men and women have them.
We're all not perfect and have something we don't like about ourselves but anyone who highlights this is not worth our time.

We both have them, i'm really self concious about mine and feel quite unattractive, i got them when i was pregnant, S says they don't bother him at all. It wouldn't put me off if someone has them though
I think you always seem to be more critical of your own body than other people's anyway x |

Wel i dont think they excite anyone, but unfortunately for a lot of women, its a fact of life.
As guys get a little older, they do tend to a little more understanding |

Thats because they tend to have a few themselves. |

Ive never had anyone say anything about them to me, would be quite offended if someone did though as i got most of mine going through a growth spurt which is a natural part of growing up and getting older. And like someone said earlier if someone is to point them out and say nasty stuff then they arent worth your time. I just find it hard to forget about them when i see them in the mirror pretty much every day! lol |

i hate my stretch marks too tho they dont bother me one bit on other women, i dont even notice them to be honest
Ive never had anyone comment on mine and ive never played with a guy whos looked at my stomach and lost his hard on so im guess they feel the same as me
tip tho sunbeds really do reduce the appearance of stretch marks |

My daughters are 19, 23 and 28, all size 8 and all with stretch marks...I have them too. No one likes them but focusing on the negative is very unattractive. Who wants to play with someone with body issues when seeking fun?
Also, there are predatory males, knowing you feel insecure will tell you all sorts to get in your pants. Threads designed to massage egos sometimes have a negative affect.
Good luck! |

My friend has just had a huge tattoo done on her belly ,its a cherry blossom tree with hills and stuff she had it to cover a c section scar and stretch marks and after years of not showing her belly to anyone including her husband now wont stop getting it out |

Great points there Sassy.
I want to add, A woman with stretch marks and confidence is sexier than a woman without stretch marks or confidence. |

I got my first ones when I was about 9 due to a growth spurt.
I have a few on my hips & arms, but they have never bothered me & no-one has ever mentioned them.
I had a friend who after her 3 kids had quite noticeable stretch marks that she called her tiger stripes!
Honestly I think you're being too hard on yourself & I don't think you have anything to worry about

My body has nice bits and not so nice bits but they work together in harmony so it seems a shame to pick one feature out as less attractive than other features.
Anyone who sings nice legs shame about the face well they need to be singing from a position of body perfection.... and that doesnt exist.
Its time to realise its against the norm NOT to have stretch marks as it seems nobody fat, thin, childless, male or female is exempt from the possibility of gaining them at any time during their life.... |
