was chatting with a workmate the other day about what we looked like when we were younger so today i rummaged out some actual photographs - spent ages flicking through all the albums from when my kids were babies and growing up and some of myself doing the same - lovely memories |

I love looking through the old family photos. My mum has loads and has all of her mum's albums too. My grant quite helpfully wrote names and dates on the back of most of her photos which makes it easier to identify family members I never met before they passed away.
The younger generation won't have the pleasure of looking back at all their memories of childhood like we can as everything is digital and so easily erased nowadays. |

my ex in laws have a huge box - no order - allsorts of info scribbled on most - we can waste a whole day looking through them - my son is the spit of his grandad at a similar age -- |

Ah it's easy to get misty eyed doing this!
There's so many photos today compared to when I was a kiddie, old pics are much rarer and you can't beat a proper nostalgia fest! |
