Okay so I get profiles looking at my profile but in their text. It states not into black people. So I am confused because clearly in my avater photo you can see I am a black man. So if you're not into black people why would you have a perv at my profile?

To be honest mate your profile pic to me, on a phone, looks tanned causasian. My profile says single straight guy, not a couple ... guess what views I get? |

But people don't know you are a straight single guy, until they look. That is what profiles are for. To browse and judge any initial compatibility. They have to look first  |

Hun not that clear from your avatar
Maybe it's the lighting but I wouldn't have looked at this pic on my phone especially and thought that's a black guy xx

OP you have got some lovely pics so I can't blame them for having a perve .
Seriously though, avatar pics are very small and often not too clear when you are using the site on a mobile. Unless you view the profile pics it's not always clear what someone's skin colour is.
As others have said your avatar does look like a tanned Caucasian man and it does become clear that you are black when look at your other public pics.
I wouldn't worry too much about who's looked anyway. If they like what they see they will contact you. |

People sometimes change their minds and also others prefer to find the person that they want, rather than someone - in this instance a black guy - searching for and messaging to them.
In the forum I often click the user, instead of a thread or reply icon, by mistake - so people could assume I'm interested in them, when it was just a fingering error.
With thousands of users, there will always be errors, pervs and nosiness. Let it go. |
