You can't beat Finbarr Saunders and his Double Entendres! Fnarrr!
The best strip ever was a one off that caused outrage and after numerous complaints they had to make an apology, and which I can't mention here (because of the outrage!  ) |

The bacons were easily my favourite. There was something very tom & jerry about the violence in it, the gleeful way ma & pa would cruelly set traps for poor biffa to get battered I found hilarious

Brown Bottle and Cider Woman, 8 Ace, and Aldridge Prior. As well as Roger Nellie, Fat Slags, Big Vern, Finbarr Saunders.....all brilliant and such a microcosm of Geordie life! |

I did my degree in Newcastle so read it with my mates. Had to translate for them though.
Loved Sid, Biffa and Busta...
Also had an unusual soft spot for The Thoroughly Modern Parents. No one mentioned them so far?
