Lunchtime .....

What's your favourite toast topping ??

I've had two slices with marmite to satisfy my savoury needs and one slice with black currant jam to help my sweet craving.

Oh yes - a cheese and marmite panini from a 24 hour Starbucks has become something of a habit in the early hours on my way home from clubs.

Chopped up bacon fried (no added oil or fat) and once crispy, tip a can of beans in to the pan and all the bacony goodness deglazes in to the beans. Pop it on a couple of rounds of hot buttered toast, grate cheese on top with a bit of a dusting of black pepper and chuck under the grill until lush and melty. Nom!

Pop a nice layer of thick cut orange shredded marmalade on your toast top with some good mature cheddar pop under the grill until all melted. Mmmm delicious.

Breakfast in a tin
