Bad manners are all over fab.
I don't just walk off when I've been chatting with someone in normal life. But it's fairly normal on here for people to do that.
I'm not easily offended, and don't really expect people to behave politely on here. It is what it is.

Just see it as a blessing. They may look appealing at first glance but as the poster above stated about anonymity you soon realise who you would rather spend time messaging. It's quicker for you to read a message than it would be to write one to them before realising how poorly they conduct themselves. |

There is a member on this site who couldn't be clearer, in that they seek interaction with folk who are honest, display good manners and politeness ... all the the things I value actually! In the 3 weeks since I first contacted them, I have had no manners shown to me, intermittent messages that 'talk at me' & they log out at will without any warning

Fab encourages bad manners, they don't encourage answering all messages, even when you chat and arrange to meet people don't turn up, no reason or excuse given. If you report someone there is no feedback as to the outcome of your report. It's gradually got worse over the long time I've been here |

We have had so many friend requests where they blatantly haven't read any of our profile and never communicated with us in any way shape or form, and these are other 'couples'.

I think if someone can take the time to send a msg then its only polite to reply no matter how big/small. I send a msg to one particular person on here & he constantly reads & deletes. I never get as much as 'hi' anymore. Sad really that folk hve no respect for others anymore. |

I try to be polite to most people, but sometimes I may crack a joke that is taken out of context.
Sometimes people on the forum are different in person sometime for better sometimes not so. There are people I would meet based on forum then in person thought hmm maybe not, and visa versa
People have said to me wouldn't meet me in person then met me at a club or larger social and things have happened. You have to realise not everyone like everyone.
Also if someone has told you no thanks be decent enough to say thanks and move on. We are all here for same thing. |

If they are on a laptop it's easy to copy & paste a 'no thanks' message but on a slow phone with shit network/ wifi it's much harder to keep up with even just a couple of mails. (Could be my age though) |
