Never in my life have I been somewhere that has riled me to the point of blood boiling! Not only do you go in there knowing what you want, they won't let you find it and walk out. Oh no. They make you trapes through the whole store, hoping you'll buy an impulse purchase or gain inspiration from their demos bedspaces. Then when you get to check out it's not like Argos and they'll bring it out for you. Nooooooooo. You have to get the damn thing yourself, whack it on your trolley yourself, and push the damn thing yourself to a separate home delivery area! Then they make you buy a hot dog!! Bastards!!

Online! That is the best place for it. On the net!

I still can't believe you got to actually pick up the flat pack to take it to the till and then off to the home delivery!

Not like DFS or furniture village where it's all done for you!

Damn it I'm a snob!

Personally I think IKEA has one of the best selection of kitchen ware under one roof, just miffed the nearest is 66miles away even though there's a depot only 10 away. As for the hot dogs, they're fantastic and deals are good although they stop the Bolognese type topping.

Just to say I had, once had six dogs!!

Glad it isn't just me.

I went to the Warrington one a couple of years back. I'd just bought an induction hob and none of my pans worked with it. Ikea had a reasonably priced set that did.

I walked in wanting one item. I knew pretty much where in the store it would be. I didn't browse or impulse buy anything else. It still took the best part of an hour from entering the store to leaving.

Wakefield

Did it last week in a world record time of 12 minutes.

Checked on line item in stock.

Checked location of said item (aisle no. Location point).

In and out in 12 mins.

Was expecting the press and TV to be there to cover the story, when I got outside with my item, but nothing.

The secret is to use the staff hidden walkways behind the panels.

Entrance is next to exit so no need to walk 2 miles behind mums with pushchairs and pensioners in mobility scooters or families of 7 making a day of it (who does that?).

Ribble Valley

You do know the app can pinpoint the exact location of stock in the end warehouse?

As for kitchenware etc that's all in the kitchenware section.

Go in through the exit.Never use the entrance or follow the yellow brick Rd and keep your sanity.
