They say there's a split between David Lynch fans and twin peaks fans, personally I believe it to be a work of genius.

What does the world of fabric think?

On here the reaction has been generally positive.

I have mixed feelings - some parts have been genius others not so much. On balance I'm enjoying it but it's not what I expected - although I'm not sure exactly what I did expect!

I miss 'old' Coop..

I think he is re-defining TV again just as the original series did first time round.

I love it. I loved Fire Walk With Me- and I know that split a lot of people who just loved the kooky-quirky whimsy of Twin Peaks, who wondered where the humour had gone.

It's brilliant- it says a lot about what DL thinks about audiences and their expectations, attention spans and perceptions. We must never forget he is an artist first, a painter, and so some ideas are not going to be straight forward.

I loved the original - my 18th birthday didn't start until they'd unveiled Laura Palmers killer. I watched the first four episodes of this one but it's way too weird for me

Ep 8 left me pretty speechless for a while afterwards. Generally speaking I thought I'd seen everything TV could offer, but TPTR has moments when you just have to accept that there are far more gifted and talented people capable of telling a complex story in a stunning way.
