As most of you know me so well it's come to my attention that a teeny tiny little dolls house of a table has turn in my relationship that I have with my mother.
All my life up until this last year she's supported my finatially for the most part and I'm grateful for this but. Because of this she has always had a hold over me. One that I've struggled to shake. For the last 16 years she's payed my tv license for me and yesterday she phoned telling me "money is very tight now and she will pay it but I have to be aware that it's a struggle.
I said to her of course mother I understand and I'm more then happy to pay my own tv license just send me the details. To which she replied well we have payed for you all your life. To which I replied yes mother I know and I do send you £25 a month off my own bat and I'm happy to do this for the foreseeable. Do tell me darling mother what does my rich brother in his 8 bedroomed ex nunnery send you? Ahhhhhhhhh nothing.

Hmmm, families. My brother is well off and managing director of his own company, yet looks down at me sees I struggle yet never once offers help. Yet if the tables were turned I would instantly offer help.
Thankfully my mom helps me, so it's not as bad as it could be. Perhaps we're just too soft x |
