I really fancy Jean-Christophe Novelli. Mmmm god I would love him to show me some culinary techniques.
Also used to love watching Ainsely Harriot but never fancied him. Great dishes.

A lot of the TV chefs get a bit too poncey for me food wise.
The ones that have me drooling are the ones that make health foods such as suet puddings, home baked pies, thrice cooked chips and the like.
I also like the banter between Antonio Carluccio and Genaro Contaldo. Their Italian cooking / travel programme was great. |

I think that series inspired his 'india' series which has taught me how to make 'curries' and the history behind them. |

"I've learnt nothing from TV chefs.
But Lorraine Pascal makes my loins dance.
"
I've 'liked' her on Facebook but it's never food stuff just beauty products and stuff in the gym.
She needs to be back on our screens cooking shit up |

"I only drool over James Martin. I don't care if he can cook or not
Yea, Saturday kitchen just isn't the same without him "
He signs his Facebook updates with 'J' at the bottom of it.
Not sure why. He was a fantastic programme host I thought. |

John Tarode - bit of a cock on Masterchef but if you can find an hour long programme on 'Argentina' you'll see a different side to him.
It's a brilliant programme showing how they do their beef and steaks. |

Rachel Koo. Her tv programme had her cooking in a really tiny apartment kitchen that i could totally relate to at the time.
Lorraine Pascale i quite like and Jamie Olivers simple cooking. Not the artsy fartsy stuff.
Keith Floyd was interesting to watch too. Very flamboyant. |

I think they all want a slap in the face....
Banging on about the economy of batch cooking and slow cooking cheap cuts without a mention of the astronomic energy consumption involved in those process...
