Hiding in the shadows

I've competed in swimming & karate for GB in my younger days.

I cycle daily.

Seaswim, kayak, paddle board often as the weather allows.

Box 3 times a week, and just took part in my first powerlifting competition.

I teach Insanity classes & in the gym 6 days a week

Active enough lol!

I love mountain biking, signed upto a few competitions when I was younger but could never get to them when the time come.

Since then I've come to realise how much it hurts when you fall off and lost my bottle. Still enjoy off roading though

I used to be more on road than off road, but I've come to realise falling off is better than being knocked off, if you see what I'm saying..

I know what you mean, but I always preferred off road because on road bores me. In fact I was supposed to be going for a bike ride with a few mates but I've opted for going for a full English instead

Big shout out to the fit as fuck women!

All the 1000s of hours of training and dedication needed to shape your body doesn't go unnoticed!

Your body is the greatest instrument you'll ever own! Look after it. Train it hard and fuel it right!

There's tons of completely out shape ladies on fab who think they're total goddesses because there's so many men on here who would shag anything with a pulse.

The true goddesses are the ladies that train their butt off and it shows!

Run, martial arts, yoga, weight lifting, sports. Whatever you're into do it hard!

I love all women but I've a soft spot for a woman that isn't afraid of the squat rack and doesn't play games in the gym!

Salute to all the fit as fuck ladies working their fine firm asses off!

I was a County Netball player for 10yrs and have pretty much done every sport as I loved it.

My body is now broken from too many injuries doing the said sports so I'm reduced to my new bike, a cross trainer, line dancing (don't laugh) and two dog walks every day.

I miss competitive sport, but do my best to my abilities for my old age.

I'm definitely not a couch spud and my God, I'd love my athletic toned body back

Tis true. Fab is completely skewed in the woman's favour which is to be expected. A guy has to be well above average to get a look in compared to a female equivalent.

I've love for all women whatever the shape. Doesn't mean I shag them all or think they are a goddess because they've a vagina. A woman that trains is a really attractive trait imo.

More ladies (men too!) should take care of their bodies. It's not easy and is fucking hard work so Salute to the fit as fuck ladies!

You're right it's fucking hard work, and the older I'm getting it's even harder ~ I have to really watch what I eat and I'm way more injury prone which means I can't run or lift weights like I used too.

I do like a fit lady but no more than a woman that doesn't spend hours working out.

I can certainly appreciate it from the perspective of how much effort is required.

I compete in strongman and it's brutal, the amount of women now competing is increasing all the time. It's very impressive to see what they can do, especially some of the smaller weight categories.

Yeah, my laughter wasn't at the fitness side of your post. I agree with it to an extent. It was more the declaration of love and the perhaps not glowing way of describing the 'things'. It amused me greatly.

Yes and yes.

Have completed the London Marathon when I was 50 (won't say 'run', but finished it)

Mountain bike 40k a week

Run twice a week.

Yoga or aerobics most days

The older you are the harder it gets to keep those muscles you've worked so hard to get

I do squats and crunches - trying to burn some excess fat.

I walk/cycle to work on work days - that's like 3 miles a day - nothing major but I'm slowly increasing my exercise ahha. Trying to be less fat and more fit.

How far did you guys ride?"

Its not about distance.. its about time on the bike. Which was over an hour. She did well.

"I've competed in swimming & karate for GB in my younger days.

I cycle daily.

Seaswim, kayak, paddle board often as the weather allows.

Box 3 times a week, and just took part in my first powerlifting competition.

I teach Insanity classes & in the gym 6 days a week

Active enough lol! "

I do HIIT, boxing, cycling and can squat 60kg. I've lost 7 stone with some fluctuation. Still fat, but let's remember that just because someone's body isn't perfect, it doesn't mean they're not trying.

It's hard work! I used to be the gym bunny type obsessed with exercising it's so hard to get the motivation now but I'm getting there! Just a few more pounds to drop and I'll have my ideal body. Just got to keep it up!

"Big shout out to the fit as fuck women!

I try to run 15 to 30 know on Saturday or Sunday depending on how I feel running 4.45 mins to 5.45 with out breakfast and just 12 ounces of water.

Weights 3 times a week using medium weights like 70-85kg for 5-7reps and normally do 20 - 30 sets to help increase work capacity.

going to start cycling to work as my cardio is not as good as it used to be.
