Anybody else feel that the life is getting sucked out of this swinging lark,there was a time it was all done for the fun of it
(And before you start i was part of a couple when i first started down this slippery road) |

 that may be the issue now OP.
Previously it was easier to pull as you had a lady with you. Now you've joined the ranks of all the single men and supply and demand kicks in! I've said it many times before but often (not always, but often!) the male half of a couple is there to be tolerated to get access to the female half!
