It's not really much better to be honest, that extra 50bhp only kicks in at around 6800rpm due to the variable valve timing. My 140bhp is still quite quick. It's only a small car remember.

I know what you mean, I can't fault the mid range power though. Even with the standard exhaust it still makes a nice sound too. You can pick them up fairly cheap too.
