Sausage and mash with onion gravy (pork sausage not fancy sausage).
Or my mums roast beef dinner. She puts cauliflower cheese on the plate, mashed potatoe, roast potatoe, roast beef, carrots, parsnips, yorkshire pud and gravy. No need to eat for the rest of the day after that beaut! |

Anything Mr GR cooks but especially his chilli, beef, bacon, chicken and chorizo... All tongue meltingly hot, rice, wedges/chips (or tortilla chips) and a sprinkle of cheese.
OK, hungry now
Mwah

Imagine what I'm like at Christmas? Don't worry if your joke flies out the cracker and lands on Grandma's lap. I've got plenty in reserve |

It's easier to say what i don't like.
Coleslaw, celery and that rubbery cheese that has found it's way into my fridge recently that the OH cooks on the griddle.
It's fucking rancid shit |

This is a tough one to call - I love Thai green curry and rice, or calves liver with pancetta and creamy mash, or veal Milanese with tomato spaghetti - but you can't beat really decent traditional fish and chips. |

Deep dish.
Par boiled and halved new potatoes in the bottom of the dish.
Wire rack above the potatoes.
Belly pork on the rack.
Slowly roast it, so the fat dribbles down the onto the potatoes.
Serve with a bit of veg. |

Favourite would just be a really good quality steak cooked to perfection.
Comfort food would have to be sausages on a pile of mash with onion gravy poured generously over the top |

I could (and frequently do) live on halloumi. With falafel or chorizo in pitta or pan fried with lemon juice and capers.
Om to the power of nom. |

I hear you. I have had good, and bad halloumi fries. For example I went to a 'gastropub' recently where they fried them in the same thick batter as the dish. Bleurgh. |

If you can get to Camden market, try those. Just a dusting of coating. Served with chilli flakes, zaatar yoghurt, mint leaves and pomegranate seeds. |
