Is just a big bright lump of rock in the sky that apparently affects the tide, and some members of a swinging website on a regular basis. |

possible due to evidence that needs to be debunked before I would confidently bet my life on it not being hallow or hallowed out somehow .
again possible until a credible theory on how the moon came into existence is excepted by the scientific community so again I would not bet my life on it not being a artificial satellite by that i mean purposely placed where it is .

Aphelion was 4th July luckily it was combined with a new moon... Apparently the old non was worn out... Made for an odd launch  |

yes I was told that at school to but do some research about the moon and you soon release that just a theory with no proof which means it hasn't been proven to be true , which makes it no better or different than saying god placed it there when he created the heavens and the earth . nether have the proof needed to be viewed as the truth in my opinion . |

Again mixing hypothesis up with theory....
A hypothesis is either a suggested explanation for an observable phenomenon, or a reasoned prediction of a possible causal correlation among multiple phenomena.
In science, a theory is a tested, well-substantiated, unifying explanation for a set of verified, proven factors.
Theory is proven
Hypothesis is conjecture...
Understanding is important before stating it is only a Theory as you are implying proof...

The mysteries around the moon allow for any possibilities I'm amazed that more research isn't being carried out on the moon as there are rather a large amount of scientific mysteries surrounding the moon .which I personally would like to see answered as I'm a curios soul at heart . |

Not only is it real. We landed on it. And anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant. Buzz aldrin hit a reporter when he was asked that question once, and I don't blame him. It must be insulting for a feat of its time to be ridiculed as it is.
I own an acre of it incidentally. I have the deeds.

I find this entire thread very heartening. In the Wales forum we sent literally hundreds of messages discussing biscuits. Then we thought that maybe we should be talking about sex like they do in the other forums. So its a great relief to find that, instead of discussing sex, the English are debating whether the moon is real.  |

If the moon was hollow would it still have the same gravitational pull on the oceans ?
If it was placed their did someone place all the other satellites that orbit other planets as well ?
I haven't got a clue myself but I do like watching any programs/movies about space |

I don't believe man landed on the moon because of the radioactivity beyond the van allan belt,everything the Russians sent up came back dead but with some gold leaf on the visor of their helmets the Americans,in almost identical spacesuits managed it.
When there was a hole discovered in the ozone layer we were told if it got worse the planet would die as we had no protection from this same radiation that America supposedly defeated in the 60's.

The moon landing were real of that I have very little doubt but there are a few mysteries around the landings and buzz aldrin freely talks about seeing strange luner lights while on the moon and on lift off for the return journey home |

Ive read a paper by two Russian scientist who explained how the moon could be hallow and still effect the earth as you question . Something to do with it having a 2 thick metal shell or crust around a hollow center .
The same paper questioned the problem on all the impact creators on the moon being to shallow .
I have a very curios mind and a healthy interest in science especially when it comes to un answered questions and mysteries. |

I tend to agree with you on these points. Plus whole stack of Russian reports, china reports and heeps of old NASA and others on moon.
I don't think anyone has ever stepped foot on the moon and nor do I think anyone will for some time yet.
I try to look at things with logic and logic says we never been there and anyone who thinks otherwise, have been mislead, prob same extent as the when you chuck the established law of physics out the window because its actually all just bolloks
