In May, after eating junk food and chocolate and feeling like a pig on steroids in all of my clothes, I took the plunge and joined slimming world. I lost a stone and a half in a month and felt great. Especially for someone that previously refused to eat fruit and veg and drink anything but fizzy drinks (or alcohol).
Then I had a few cheat weeks for family birthdays etc and now I'm struggling to get back on track. I've somehow managed to maintain during this time and actually lost 2lb this week
Heres to all of you that are trying hard and struggling a little to improve their diet and lifestyle. It's a long and difficult process but remember you're doing great, so keep smiling and stop being so hard on yourself |

Well done. Dont lose too quickly. More gradual loss is better. Good luck going forward. Your looking great already.

It is hard, exercise wise I'm doing great. Going to the gym 2-3 times a week. And I'm trying to eat better but struggling. Got so much emotional stuff going on I just want to eat sugar but if I do I'm ill. Just need to increase my protein intake x |

"Simple. Don't eat loads of shit and exercise "
Easier said than done at times. What is simple for one, isn't simple for everyone.
We all know the "what you should do" but putting it into practise and sticking to it can be extremely difficult. Periods, emotions, getting caught up at work and then eating late or not eating at all. All these things impact. |

You have to have a plan. Write it all down, even the bad stuff. Plan menus in advance and dont buy anything you dont want in your diet.
Plan your treats, then you will not miss having them. Being on a diet is not meant to be a punishment.
Dont beat youserlf up if you have a bad day

Slow release carbs you need "
No, even they are too much for me - I need to avoid altogether sadly, apart from green veg. |
