Were there any (good) songs written about a Thursday? I can't think of one... it's usually Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday... i think that shows that Tues-Thurs are just mongrel days. |

Can't think of any Thursday songs but for Tuesday and Wednesday you have:
Ruby Tuesday - Rolling Stones
Wednesday Week - The Undertones
Wednesday Week - Elvis Costello

David Bowie - Thursdays Child
It's no classic but a decent enough song.

Deadline - Robert Palmer. A drummer friend and I once tried to figure out what was going on when it changes from reggae to 4/4 at the chorus but gave up. Observe:

"Gasoline - Suede
Miss shapes - Pulp"
You sure the Suede song is called 'Gasoline'? I know its a word they use in practically every other song but it would be beyond parody if they had a song with that title!
Soz, I'm a Suede nerd.
