I recycle my photos occasionally because I get bored. I also sometimes join in on forum photo games.
However its not that often I use the same ones.
Sure its always nice to get some extra attention, but I don't get the sudden infux of messages etc that others do so don't look at it as a means for that. |

Every time you post a pic, change your status, review a club, etc... You appear on the local updates. So if people look at the list if updates, they will see your profile... and maybe click it.

When they post new pics they appear in the local updates feed. They could be trying to attract attention to themselves from people in their area.
I don't post pics very often because my inbox fills up too quickly and I don't have time to manage it.
It is also a possibility that they are trying to get in the hot pics. |
