I agree - recently got back into it. Since the weekend I've been going every morning - great way to start the day.

Swim, steam, shave, shower....shame I can't fit a shit in, that would be perfection

I think shitting in the pool may be frowned upon!

I've decided I want to do the London classics before I'm 40. Already done the marathon, need to do the ride London bike ride and 2 mile serpentine swim now. 3 years to complete it!

I can swim ok but need to work on my front crawl.

I love swimming, especially in the sea. I like the movement of the water around my body. I always feel so relaxed after swimming.

I do like a good swim, do a mile twice a week. Only downside is trying to get the chlorine off my skin.

They say it's the 2nd best aerobic exercise. Ask me what the best is

I got up to the pool, got wet - and then they announced the pool was closing due to failing it's chemical test!

I started swimming lessons in Sep 2015 after a life time of being petrified of water. By April 2016 I could swim 60 to 120 lengths frout crawl.

Im still having lessons now as the correct technique can always be improved and also moved onto

diving, tumble turns and butterfly which may I add very unsuccessfully todate.

I try to swim at least three times a week

I've just picked up swimming again. It's not that I can't swim in my case it's the cardio aspect of it. I do a couple of lengths then struggle to breathe.

15m x 140 = 2100m

2100m = 1.3 miles according to Mr Google anyway.

Strava and Tomtom say 2199 yards which again works out to 1.3 miles so I'm going with that

It's 66 lengths of a 25m pool for a swimmers mile. 66x25 = 1650m = 1.025 miles. You'd have to do 110 lengths in a 15m pool for the same

So they made you do an extra 125m for your badge, I'd put a complaint in

My nickname in school and army was "The Fish".

I think it's because if it involved water.. I was in my element.

But my favourite is swimming underwater.. on a breath.. shutting my eyes and gliding like some whale or dolphin.

My kids catch me doing it all the time when I take them.. they've even started spending a lot more time down below as well My little Aquababies.

That is my ultimate best! Beach swims are therapeutic. It's because the sea is influenced by the moon. We're all interlinked. I love how my skin feels and I am left with a general sense of wellbeing. I put sea salt into my bath at least 300gr.
