I think everyone believes that about their personal childhoods mind. I preferred social activities. Leaving the house at 9 and not coming back till just before dark.... Ahhh those were the days |

I used to love Saturdays over my grans, blind date, gladiators, an actual fish and chip van used to come round the streets!
Or Saturday over my Nans would be down the Chinese with my grandfather, he'd buy me like 12 different dishes cos I said I liked a little tiny bit of each thing! Spoilt wasn't the word!
Telly was good back then, had knightmare, round the twist, grotbags!
Red dwarf, quantum leap |

"Power rangers shits on climbing trees there we go "
yeah cuz dressing up in a badly fitting power ranger outfits to sheepishly strike carton poses with your best mate Tristan is way better than hiding in trees pelting dried animal shit at the old blokes stumbling out the social club after an afternoon on the piss |

When I was a kid getting us indoors was a big issue, we wanted to be out playing. |

That list of programmes certainly got my mind ticking.
Knightmare was definitely cool.. not forgetting transformers, thundercats, grange hill and the start of byker grove.. everyone in my class tried doing geordie accents after that! |
