I know a lot of men fancy the pants off us bbw ladies but how many of you guys would actually be happy to be seen out with a larger lady when your mates are maybe dating fabulous skinny minnies (but secretly craving a voluptuous woman) lol |

Those who wouldn't, are probably not going to admit to it here.
I've always yo-yo with my weight. Biggest being a size 18-20. I tend to stay between a size 14 or 16 these days.
Mr B has never once made me feel bad or that hes not wanted to be seen with me.

The insinuation being, of course, that there are guys who openly date larger ladies and guys who date skinny minnies but wish they were with a larger lady. Maybe, just maybe, there are men out there who like being with skinny minnies, though? Maybe.
Anyway, I know a ton of larger ladies (my sister, one of my best friends, etc.) and they all have husbands or long term boyfriends, so I'm not sure it's as socially prohibitive as people often make it seem. |

I am fat and I have never had a problem with guys seeming embarrassed to be with me. I am happily married to an unashamed chubby chaser so I guess men love their women whatever their size. Maybe it's boys that need to keep up appearances that they are with conventionally 'acceptable' women |

Big or small personality is what matters, n if ur too embarresed tp admit who ur with then they deserve better.
Be proud to have any of you larger fab ladies by my side |

OP I mean this in the nicest possible way - i couldn't give a fuck!!
If i was in public with a BBW or skinny minnie i'd do exactly the same, introduce you as a friend and keep my mouth shut about how we met or this site cause that's no ones business but ours.
Are guys who can't be corteous in public and acknowledge you as a friend really on here? Are they worth bothering over? |

I'm not really sure why anyone would give a fuck who you fancy and who you date. If you have mates that you're worried about who you date. They aren't your mates. And if you care what your taste in women is, then you're a bit of a knob. |

I'm my entire life I've met 1 man who genuinely preferred larger women. The research on the subject overwhelmingly shows most men prefer slimmer women. So i disagree with your opening line and think you've been drinking the bullshit men say to try and fuck you. |

Yup that's how a robot would answer the question. Unfortunately, humans are hard wired to give a fuck what their peers think. |

""Drinking the bullshit" and saying someone is a robot isn't a nice positive thing to say but if you're happy crack on "
I said that's how a robot would answer, not that the person is a robot. Allow me to rephase the other point. OP there are 3 possibilities:
1. All the research into what the majority of men find attractive is wrong
2. You meet a very unrepresentative sample of men
3. You meet a representative sample of men who tell you want you want to here.
I retract the earlier statement and simply state that i believe #3 to be the case. |

Others prefer slim ladies ,so stick to what they like and why should they compromise?

I never said that. I said you shouldn't care about what people think about your choice in partner. I don't, neither do some others, the ones that do care then more fool them. You implying I was some kind of robot for saying that (white knighting) is a nonsense. It's sad that you feel everyone is like that. But not everyone is the same and as easily influenced |

I never said you were a robot (how can two people make that mistake?). I said your response is what a robot would say because it doesn't account for basic human feelings like peer pressure.
Likewise the approval of a partner is a pleasurable experience. You can argue the toss over whether that should or shouldn't be the case, but it is the case.
It is simply human to prefer social approval to social disapproval because evolution killed all your ancestors who genuinely didn't give a fuck about some degree of social inclusion. |

One woman said it. Generally on these threads, if someone is derogatory about a body size, it gets shut down pretty quickly by the others. |

My thoughts on the matter are that slimmer figures are the most popular preference. I'm in no doubt that if a slimmer version of myself was around, it'd be in higher demand. However, I'm cool with that - I've never had an issue meeting guys in the outside world, but I am incredibly hilarious so that's probably why... |

It is unnecessary, you're right. However, it's one or two comments. Try reading comments in the media about women who are bigger - they're utterly disgraceful. |

Some men prefer bigger women
Some men prefer slim women
Some men are just attracted to the person and size is irrelevant.
Some men are just twats and will bow down to peer pressure and are only happy to be seen in public with women who conform to their friends or their own view of what dating material women look like, sometimes to the point of attempting to humiliate said woman to really prove a point, whilst trying to "woo" the woman in private.
I've met all 4 types of men and the only ones I don't like are those that fall into the latter category, I don't have any problem with people having preferences but there is no need to make someone else feel shitty about themselves, and those that aren't grown up enough to admit that they fancy a larger woman probably shouldn't be in a relationship anyway.

Why would anyone feel ashamed of someone...
I just feel sad now " yup it is. I once was with someone that when his family suspected he was with me ( i was a size 14/16 at the time) he denied it and publicly stated no way would he be into a fatty like me.
We had been seeing each other for a while at that time. He even now has his own bbw page but only dates slim petite women. |

Threads like this make me laugh. I have never struggled to get a date and I have been "fat" my whole life, I've had relationships with buff gym types, runners and the average Joe. Yeah some men are cock wombles and will only fuck fat woman not date them but I've found most guys end up wanting a relationship with me. That's not big headed but the truth- my 2 exes are both trying to get me back- even though I've recently put on weight. |

"Threads like this make me laugh. "
Where are you finding these guys? They're like gold dust round here lol xx |

Well I found one on here but they are exes for a reason. But I don't know why guys tend to see me as relationship material. Certainly wasn't looking for a relationship when I met my most recent ex. |

Love these men!!!! Thank you xx
Watch someone horrible and small minded come and say it's all bollocks and you're all white knighting
Why do people feel the need to post negative or hurtful stuff. Just read the thread if you wish and then pee off let people be - rant over!!
Peace out xx |

A world of my own |
I don't think I'm seen as relationship material. It might be my looks. It might be because I have a very busy life with my children and career. It could be because I'm divorced and have more baggage than Gatwick airport. Or it might be because I do it all on my own and they are too weak for me. Perhaps I even give off bad vibes. However I don't think my dress size is the main factor. |

People should be able to fancy who they like and not be teased because of their choices, in an ideal world it would be so, in this world you have to be seen to conform to the " norm" unfortunately

People also look for different things in a relationship than maybe on here at times, but there is always somebody for somebody, and st times in your life these change.
Everybody is entitled to see who they want without there being size of tbe person really coming into it, and if they are not happy being seen out witb said person, then somebody else will be. |

"I know a lot of men fancy the pants off us bbw ladies but how many of you guys would actually be happy to be seen out with a larger lady when your mates are maybe dating fabulous skinny minnies (but secretly craving a voluptuous woman) lol
The insinuation being, of course, that there are guys who openly date larger ladies and guys who date skinny minnies but wish they were with a larger lady. Maybe, just maybe, there are men out there who like being with skinny minnies, though? Maybe.
Anyway, I know a ton of larger ladies (my sister, one of my best friends, etc.) and they all have husbands or long term boyfriends, so I'm not sure it's as socially prohibitive as people often make it seem."
Why do so many BBW's have to have a dig at slim women? Fact is most men prefer slim women, that's borne out by the fact that men who have every choice (the rich, famous, good looking) generally go for slim women x
Saying guys with that date skinny minnies but secretly wish they were with larger ladies is clearly nonsense and smacks of ego and body shaming, face it most men prefer slim ladies but men will compromise with larger ladies to have fun, just as most people prefer younger people but will compromise with us to have fun... |

I wasn't having a dig at anyone I was asking a simple question. I have been a 'skinny minnie' and I'm now bbw so I have sat both sides of the fence, I get a lot more attention now than I did before but maybe that is because I am more confident and happy in myself now than I was then. |

I get where you're coming from. But it's purposely provocative (not to mention completely unverifiable) to say that the guys who are with skinny women are secretly wishing they weren't. It would be horrible (and in most cases, inaccurate) of me to say that men who are with bbws secretly wish they were with thin women but they just couldn't get one. And I wouldn't say it. I don't get why that doesn't go both ways. |

My partner used to be a size 18 when I met her, I used to love being out and seen with her, she is now a size 10 and sometimes I miss her being an 18... the point is I like how you feel, how you move and most of all how much of a goddess you all looks |

On the positive side she'll probably live 3 years longer now, according to Oxford University - so you have more time to enjoy with her |

Anyway, what I'm to take from this is that it's fine to say what I said above so long as it's framed as a question....so "how many guys who are with BBWs are secretly wishing they were with us svelt women, lol" would be fine. Good to know. |

When me and my older brother use to go out on the pull together in our teens and early twenties, he always pulled the slim but busty model type looking girl and they always seemed to have a short dumpy friend... Guess who got palmed off ....
Just so he could bang a fittie... |

Maybe.
Anyway, I know a ton of larger ladies (my sister, one of my best friends, etc.) and they all have husbands or long term boyfriends, so I'm not sure it's as socially prohibitive as people often make it seem.
I didn't state all men I asked how many...
I think you're missing the point and I can't tell if its on purpose or not.
Anyway, what I'm to take from this is that it's fine to say what I said above so long as it's framed as a question....so "how many guys who are with BBWs are secretly wishing they were with us svelt women, lol" would be fine. Good to know. "

I can never understand why people just can't accept that some men and women for that matter prefer the larger person it's quite exasperating to read all the threads that just come down to the fact that people just don't get it
If the guys like larger ladies then let them, it guys like slim and average built ladies that is great too, no one is right no one is wrong

it's a bit sad that you only have "respect" for people because of thier gender.
