Has anyone had days where they can't meet up with friends at a club or a social due to either work or other unforeseen circumstances and felt like they are missing out on not just having a good time but also hanging out with your friends?
I know I'm starting to feel like that. With it being the school holidays, the work rotas can get pretty busy which makes it hard to get days off. It does sort of get me down as I can't help but feel like I'm not gonna get any time off at all throughout August and I'm gonna miss out meeting up with friends at one of my favourite clubs and would have to wait until September before I can go out again.
I guess all I can do is wait and see what the rotas are in the coming weeks and hope that I'm lucky enough to have a day off to go out |

In the swinging world, occasionally we might feel a bit miffed if we can't make a certain party or meet up with certain friends. We soon get over it.
In real life, yes it does bother us alot. We both work weekends and also have other commitments that can limit our social time with friends and family.
We're often the ones missing from gatherings. When plans do come together, it makes up for all the rest.

I had this all the time. Missed out on important family events too.
I'm currently off sick and can't say I've been happier in an awfully long time.
Unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays don't make for happy families |

Yeah I guess your right. Perhaps when I am able to go and meet up at the usual club, it will definitely make up for the times I missed out |

I'm always right, even when I'm wrong. |
