Its a wicked film one of the most original action flicks ive seen in years a cross between call of duty and live action manga with a family guy style song and dance routine in it

This film is rubbish!
There's a reason films aren't made in the first person perspective and it's because they don't work.
There's a whole sequence where Henry is running down a street and most of the screen is filled with his view of looking down at the road. The road. You're watching someone look at road as they run.
It has a barely there storyline. The badguy doesn't really have any kind of backstory or explanation of him being evil or why he has the abilities that he has.
On the plus side there's a nice sequence which was released as the teaser for the film where Henry is fighting through a building and jumping from floor to floor with Sharlto Copley's 'General' character helping him. This part is well made and fun.
Overall it's a disappointment, the first person perspective gets annoying very quickly. There's little to no story. This would be a nice idea for a short but really fails as a feature.
Gets a major thumbs down from me. |
