Antibiotics, anyone? They are useful.

Amoxidine for antibiotics. But what I said about the berries. Lots of antioxidants in them and will help the white blood cells fight it quicker. Try not too have too much though as not good for the stomach

You really need to look after yourself as it will knock your immune system for six.

I wish you well.

Thanks everyone. Five days of antibiotics have worked wonders, after I slept for 3 days!

I'm having a blood test next week to see if my body has had an immune response. If positive they send it to Porton down to ascertain exactly what bacteria I have. If negative that doesn't mean I'm not infected, just that it might be incubating so I will have to have repeated tests a month later.

I'm on a 30 day course of doxycycline.

Brighton - even Hove!

Sounds scary. I got wiped out on a body board today. I made a quick recovery though.

It shouldn't take ages to be out of your system only a few ticks......

Sorry that was a poor quip, I can't help myself.

All those Abx will be distroying you gut microbiome and you need those to get better. I'd really recommend a probiotic for the time you are on Abx and beyond.

Vit D at a good dose of 5-10,000 iu a day will be hugely beneficial to your immune system too.
