Am currently trying not to cry having seen this over the last hour.
The woman houseowner is so brave and the son has wanted for nothing emotionally, as his mum has given him a very rich upbringing, in the ways that Really count, (he is on the Autistic spectrum).
Truly heartwarming, on a day when there is soo much wrong with this country, to see this, thanks BBC! |

I too found it hard to keep control of my emotions when I saw this tonight.
The programme normally does someone a lot of good; tonight was exceptional.
Good news, even though it was recorded months ago, compared with what is going on these days. |

as much as i love the show and the work thats put into this show to make it life changing but i do have my little moans about it
the people who live in the damages homes have would be grateful to just to have it fixed so its not such a mess, is there the need to throw thousands more to create some 'super home'
also, on tonights show the couple built an extension knowing there were other issues within the house... why did they not spend the money on the unfinished extension on the other smaller projects?
AND (i know im a proper missery guts tonight) the couple tonight, have trampolines, swings, a piano.. if they were truly strapped for cash why not sell luxury items to fund what to me would be an essential issue and to provide a safe not dangerous home for my children.
just some thoughts.. but yes i always get teary at the end and think they do an amazing job |

I dont tend to watch these programmes, yes it makes a fantastic difference to some peoples lives but for me it feels like they turn peoples problems into entertainment programmes and a bit of a whose got the worst life competition.
I never watch deal or no deal but caught it the other day and blubbed like a baby all the way through it  |

Stopped watching "deal or no deal" since everyone was allowed to give their "Sob" story !!

I do know what you mean but last weeks show had a real self starter who put her autistic child at the top of her priority list, a truly inspirational parent, who was not asking for handouts, just working hard to try and make life better for her and her son, under very difficult circumstances. |

There was a programme on last night i think, where people who had been victims of rouge builders had there homes put right. Basically the programme team called up local suppliers and builders ect and all the community gave supplies and there time for nothing just a good community spirit i enjoyed that |
