Already taken the leap, had a place in Spain for a few years but buying a new villa once my house sale here completes. Plan is to spend my time between Spain and UK.
If you want to do it then just go for it |

Australia 100%, nothing rivals it trust me "
My brother went there, I've never been. Just looks amazing. Love the US too |

Having relatives who have lived abroad for 25+ years, it's not all glamour abroad.
You need money in the bank for every day things we take for granted here.
Healthcare is often expensive.
I'd go in a heartbeat and I probably will one day but it's good to be aware of how different things can be in a different country.
It's more than just a change of weather or language |

Most over countries have problems similar to the UK, some worse than here..
The old saying the grass is always greener is probably true.. It's only when you get there to find the grass is fake cos it's too dammed hot in the summer for anything to grow..
So, to recap,
Same shit, different country and sweaty bullocks in the summer... |

The scenery is a lot better though!
If you can get back to the UK for summer, best of both worlds.
That's what I hope to do |

Oh and if you do decide to do it then learn the language. I can't stand the arrogance of bloody people moving abroad that refuse to learn the local language. |
