Yes I feel even closer now she has passed on than I did before. It was a blessing as she had suffered a lot with health in the last few years. She is with me in my heart and Spirit. Funeral on Tuesday. I miss, her laughter, stories, hugs, empathy, tears and physical presence, but she passed on serenely, peacefully and gracefully so there is nothing more I could wish for, except to have held her had as she moved on.

Mama - I Divo

My mum died last Monday

Please accept condolences if it's any consolation both I and a someone very close to me lost our dad's in the last few years but they still live on in our hearts

Yes I feel even closer now she has passed on than I did before. It was a blessing as she had suffered a lot with health in the last few years. She is with me in my heart and Spirit. Funeral on Tuesday. I miss, her laughter, stories, hugs, empathy, tears and physical presence, but she passed on serenely, peacefully and gracefully so there is nothing more I could wish for, except to have held her had as she moved on."

A couple of left field songs by a Stuart Davis - in my opinion the best musician - virtually no one has heard of......yet.

I think " You've lost that loving feeling " by the Righteous Brothers and " Tell me on a Sunday " by Marti Webb should be up there too. They always give me a lump in my throat when I hear them

I have a few:

Nightwish - Turn loose the mermaids

Within temptation - Mercy Mirror

The Hu - Shireg Shireg (acoustic version)

The last one is by a Mongolian metal band, and although the album version is amazing the acoustic version takes it to a new level

If you could read my mind, Gordon Lightfoot. I would sing this everyday whilst doing the dishes in the last year or two of my relationship with my ex. I'm amazed she never picked up on it.
