Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

I'm currently sitting in my garden under the gazebo, in the rain..

I find the sound of rain on canvas really soothing..

What's the simple pleasure that does it for you..

That reminds me of camping, the sound of the rain on the canvas is rather relaxing

Exactly why I love the sound..

Guess it's the memories of caravan holidays as I kid, I'd rather sleep in the awning than the caravan as it was far cooler.

Loved falling asleep listening to the rain at night which was a common occurrence for British caravan holidays..

Last night I had a hard time sleeping. As the sun came up I just watched out the window and listened to the rain on the leaves of the trees.

It was lovely.

The beach my dogs all that open empty space under a huge sky with the sound of the surf and wind in my face...

Doesn't matter if it's raining or the sun is shining...

Best place in the world...

There is something to be said for being close to the sea..

Any chance I get, I Will head for the coast for a long walk on a beach or cliff top.

Love getting wrapped up with an extra quilt and the window open. It's lovely in the winter when the snow comes in x

You should try a corrugated steel roof in monsoon season in Malaysia.. dunno how people in rural areas manage to sleep, like having a tin of marbles rattled above your head continuously..
