The NHS is to stop the funding of homeopathic medicine, because it has failed to show effectiveness that's different to the placeb effect. The public consultation is underway. It's also thought that patients could have been deterred from getting treatments that have recognised benefits , if they were taken instead.

You seem to completely summed it up...hasn't shown effectiness so what's the point funding or prescribing it?
