Both good, but simple cheese and pinaple on sticks takes some beating...
red current on lamb
Cranberry on turkey
Apple on pork
Or simply a nice wine with anything, fruit and savory are natural together.
But I prefer a pepperoni pizza really  |

What does it matter which foods are paired up with what? If you wish to be picky, who thought of putting strawberries with cream and pastry, or chocolate with pastry to make eclairs.
Food tastes are always changing, new ideas and trends emerge all the time.
But it is like everything in our lives, it is subjective, in how we view or have things.
I hate Mayonnaise especially that it's used in almost every sandwich you can buy. That doesn't make me food snob and say it isn't right!
Same with pineapple on pizza; it suits a,lit of people and importantly, if it wasn't popular, retail outlets wouldn't sell it! |
